So, does this look like an engagement ring? Let’s discuss! 💍✨

it’s only the most famous engagement ring of all time! Princess Diana famously wore one
it’s beautiful
Yes
Yes & it’s beautiful
Yess. Any ring can be an engagement ring. Your ring is gorgeous 😍
Good enough for the Princess of Wales is good enough for me! It is lovely!
Who cares, it’s gorgeous.
It absolutely looks like an engagement ring. Fit for a princess.
I do associate this particular style with Princess Diana’s engagement ring. But I also wear a diamond band on my left ring finger and I’m divorced, so anything goes.
Say it with me…..
🚨‼️🔔✨Any stone and setting could be an engagement/Promise ring. If you’re happy that’s all that matters.✨🫶🚨‼️

*Edit to include “promise” ring.🤭 Too excited to use this photo.
Beautiful and classic
This center oval stone has always been the standard. It can be surrounded with diamonds or pearls. Classic engagement of the UK.

Twins!
Do you love it? Yes, then it is your promise ring. It is that simple. It could be a twist tie, skull and crossbones made out of silver, or a 20 carat diamond set in platinum. All of them are valid.
i see what you mean, i don’t think i’d want my DREAM ring as a promise ring. id want it as the actual engagement ring to wear forever with the wedding band. if it’s your dream ring it’s worth waiting for. it’s gorgeous and amazing but it definitely gives engagement more than promise.
It’s a ring, on That Finger.
That’s the best part, the ‘rules’ IMO are made to be absolutely smashed to pieces.
It’s gorgeous!

This is my engagement ring which was my DREAM ring. I don’t see how they’re much different (besides shape). I love blue sapphire and I love the halo on yours. It’s like a star.
That’s basically a copy of Princess Diana and now Princess Kate’s engagement ring.

Any ring could be an engagement ring 🙂 here’s mine, it’s green tourmaline.
A diamond was not the normal until DeBeers started pushing them so hard; gemstones were the norm for a very long time.
The symbolism is what makes it an engagement. This ring is beautiful and timeless.
Your ring is gorgeous!
Here’s mine 🙂 I always wanted a sapphire engagement ring.

Any ring you choose can be an engagement ring if you want it to be. Doesn’t have to be a diamond ring. Your ring is gorgeous.
That is arguably the most famous engagement ring style of all time lol

well I think it does but I might be biased
This looks like the most famous engagement ring of all time… so yes!!
You might be too young, but everyone of a certain age thinks of Princess Diana when they see this style. So yes, it’s very engagement-y. It’s also beautiful.
