My (then) fiancé gave me a Tiffany Setting (classic solitaire) and I wouldn’t want anything else. We also got our wedding bands there. I know for their engagement rings at least, there’s only a certain quality of diamonds they sell (meaning a limited range of GIA specs they choose to sell) and the settings are so hard to resist with how gorgeously they frame the diamonds. I’m obviously biased
A lot of things have changes at Tiffany since LVMH bought them but there’s still something so special about those blue boxes, especially if Tiffany holds any meaning to you.

Tiffany’s will always have a special place in my heart. Having had both I can tell you in my mid 40s value means more than the name now BUT back then Tiffany’s meant a lot to the younger version of me. Went ring shopping at Tiffany’s with my now husband, and I fell in love with this exact ring. My husband took photos of the ring to his family jeweler and they recreated it exactly, with the cost savings I got a bigger center diamond, too. Tiffany markup is real.

Beautiful! Be very careful with it – Tiffany will charge an arm and a leg if it gets damaged. Research a trusted local craftsman (/woman) who can repair it for less as needed.

Look, if budget was the primary concern, I doubt you would have bought it already. Could you recreate this for less? Of course. But I’m not going to lie, that blue box is a bit of magic and I am sure she will be so excited, just like you are.
