I recently returned from an incredible journey to New Zealand, where I had what can only be described as the ultimate “Lord of the Rings” experience. Picture this: breathtaking landscapes, the thrill of adventure, and, most importantly, celebrating my engagement with my fiancé in a truly magical setting.

The LOTR Journey

From the moment we landed in Auckland, we were enamored with the picturesque scenery that the entire country had to offer. We ventured to the lush hills of Hobbiton, marveled at the towering peaks of the Southern Alps, and even took a detour to Fiordland to sail through Milford Sound. Each stop was like walking through the pages of Tolkien’s epic.

But what made this trip even more special was the day my fiancé proposed at the base of Mount Ngauruhoe (a.k.a. Mount Doom!). As we stood there, surrounded by the stunning volcanic landscape, he dropped to one knee and presented me with an engagement ring that seems to shine brighter than the stars above that night.
