Personally, I would be ecstatic to receive and proud to wear this ring, but everyone’s tastes differ. Like others have suggested, in your place I’d wear it as my right hand/special occasion ring and consider getting a different “everyday” ring that aligns with your style.

I wouldn’t touch this ring it is gorgeous! If you don’t want to use it for your engagement ring get something you love. This can be a right hand ring. Truly beautiful.😍
The hearts are pretty subtle, I don’t think I would mind them, but of course what matters is how you feel about them. If you’re not engaged you have time to think about it and see how you feel, if you are engaged, you can always use this and get a different one.

I gasped out loud. It is perfection and the hearts on the side make it so unique, but, it’s yours and you have to love it. Maybe keep it as is and get your dream ring, if budget allows, and wear that beauty on your right hand. We will come up with lots of options to save it, lol, but it had to make you happy.
