My husband went with me for my original ring, and while he didn’t help design my 20th anniversary upgrade, he fully supported my decision because he said he wants me to be happy. (But I do think it meant something to him that they melted down the gold from the original set to make it. 😊)

I got my beautiful ring for about 35% of his budget! He then used the extra to gift me with a second ring and a bunch of other sparkly treasures that would make a magpie happy. 💖 I absolutely adore my rings because they’re everything I wanted, and I ended up with even more gorgeous jewelry than I ever imagined—all while staying way under his budget! Kudos ✨to partners who are comfortable enough to consider the relationship they are in and what their significant other would really be comfortable with instead of trying to be over traditional or controlling of the process.
