I’m super excited to share some amazing news with you all—my engagement ring just arrived after what felt like an eternity of waiting! 🎉💍 It’s something I’ve been dreaming about for a while now, and I can finally show it off. This beauty features a classic round brilliant cut diamond set in a sleek platinum band. I went for a minimalist design because I wanted something timeless that could stand the test of time. The stone is ethically sourced, which was super important to me.
The Wait
Honestly, the couple of months felt more like years! From the initial design consultations to choosing the perfect stone, every moment was filled with anticipation. I went into the process thinking I’d want something flashy, but I soon realized that less is more when it comes to expressing my style.

This is actually very cool. I always was curious how tourmaline would look in an engagement ring. Someone do a clear quartz with black tourmaline running down the middle…. come on…. someone do it lol

My ring size is 11.75, the tourmaline is just a hair under 1 carat. We ordered it custom from a guy in Wisconsin. The style of the metalwork is called Mokune Gane. It’s very specific to me and I appreciate the work my fiancée put in to designing it for me.
