My Thick Bezel Pear: A Gemstone Journey
Hello, fellow ring lovers!
Today, I’m excited to share my recent engagement ring purchase—a stunning thick bezel pear cut diamond. As I slip it on my finger, I can’t help but feel the thrill of this monumental step in my life, but even more, I want to dive into the world of gems, cuts, settings, and all things bling with you!
Why the Pear Cut?
I’ve always admired the pear cut for its unique combination of sophistication and whimsy. A pear diamond is essentially a teardrop shape, which not only elongates the finger but also offers a sparkling brilliance from every angle. It’s playful yet elegant—a perfect reflection of my personality!
When searching for my engagement ring, I gravitated toward a thicker bezel setting. Not only does it provide an extra layer of protection for the stone, but it also adds a modern twist. The frame of the bezel accentuates the diamond, allowing its beauty to truly shine. Plus, can we talk about how comfortable it is to wear without worrying about snagging?
Learning about Thickness, Settings, and More
During my ring search, I learned so much about the significance of the bezel thickness. A thicker bezel adds security and durability, which is crucial for anyone leading an active lifestyle. I also explored other settings—prong, halo, and pave—but nothing resonated with me like the sleek, minimalistic style of the thick bezel.

I am obsessed!! Can I ask who made this ring?
She thicc but she proportionate. I personally love it, it’s very cool and unique without being “too much”, ya know?
Leave it !. Do not change anything. Do not be foolish.. lol…

Love the peach and the rose gold! I think it looks perfect with the bezel!
Gorgeous!
I think it is absolutely beautiful as it is, it’s going to look so stunning and unique on your finger
Oh, I love your ring. The Bezel is not too thick.
That’s so pretty, I love it 😍
Absolutely LOVE thick bezels!!!!
So unique
I see what you mean but the bezel looks sooo beautiful against the width of the band. I would definitely try an AI rendering or 10 before touching this beauty to see if you’d like it.
Is it solid against your finger, on the back? I have a fairly big bezel ring and there’s a hole left out of the bottom to let light in to the stone. Amazingly, light does get in even though it’s against my finger.
I think it’s really pretty. It almost reminds me of a halo. It fits the overall style imo.
