The Ring Fitting Fiasco: When Size Doesn’t Matter! 💍😂❤️
Hey everyone!
I just had to share this hilarious moment from my engagement experience that I think all of you in this lovely community will appreciate! So, my fiancé has these massive size 11 fingers (seriously, they could probably hold down a small tree). Meanwhile, my fingers are much daintier at a size 6/7. When it came time for him to pick out my engagement ring, let’s just say it was a bit of a comical struggle!
Just picture this: my fiancé is excitedly showing me the ring he chose, and I’m thinking about how beautiful it looks on his huge finger. I kept joking that he must be the best ring-picker in the universe because he has a magically-sized finger that could easily take care of a wide range of options. 😂
But in all seriousness, when I finally got the ring on my own finger, it was the perfect fit! The intricate designs and stunning diamond dazzled just right, complementing my style and personality. It made me realize that regardless of finger size, what truly matters is the thought and love behind the gift.

I hope it can be exchanged because it’s probably not possible to resize it that much.
Best case is they let you exchange it for a smaller size. Worst case is you need to have the ring remade entirely. Nothing disastrous, just takes a little time to solve.
This is hilarious 😂❤️
Bless 😂

That’s HILARIOUS he really thought he nailed it 😂 good thing he was able to return it
And they let him?!?
now why on earth did he think that was gonna work
what in the world😂
Now…just why and how did the people at the ring shop let this happen?
Your man is simultaneously awesome and a fool. That man plows ahead with a plan and doesn’t let anything stop him.😂
Congrats!
Was he buying the ring for himself? I’m confused why he thought that would work

The new ring for those asking!! ❤️
Omg!!! lol!!! Has he ever looked at your hand….at all??? This is such a guy thing!!! Although my husband would be very offended. I have very small hands
Congrats on your new bracelet
Just wrap an entire skein of yarn around it 😂
Is he okay?
lol 😝 that’s all. Just lol
But seriously I sold jewelry and I’d never have let the fella do this.
I would not be able to laugh past that kind of mistake. Yikes!
My fiancé “measured” by putting one of my rings on his pinky and “remembering” how far it would fit. Yes I did have to get my ring resized lol
Everytime I go to a new jeweler and tell them I need a size 9 they insist that’s too big and measure me. It is so funny to me that your fiance just rolled in and told them to measure his size 11 for you and they didn’t even bat an eye!? Is this common among men? My boyfriend does always note that my rings fit perfectly on his pinky, so I now fear this may be his measuring method of choice too.
Honestly i don’t find that funny. Glad you do. Cause I would’ve shaken my head and ask him if he was okay.
lol.😂 Sorry, this is truly the first time I’ve ever heard of this happening. Poor guy, unfortunately that’s too much for sizing.
That would make me worry about the future. Best to you guys!
What a moron.
With all due respect, is your man a moron? 😂🤦🏻♀️
Good luck with that one.
The average wedding/engagement ring size is a 6. Did he really think your hands were that much larger than average??
Why would the salesperson not stop him 🤣🤣🤣
You’re sure you want to marry these brains? 😂 jkjk
Why would someone do this? 😂
Obvi a fake post. The real ring (which is also too big) is completely different
Oh, so he’s dumb. Gotcha.
Are you sure you want to marry him….? 😂

Congrats on his ring, he’s going to be a beautiful bride
I would’ve proposed back at him XD
Maybe not a red flag, but definitely not a green one. 😬
I’m pretty sure you can only size two sizes up or down without compromising the integrity of the ring
I wouldn’t even trust that jeweler to resize it correctly if they let him size it to his finger instead of yours
Best trick for secret ring sizing: be sure to use a ring that fits the proper finger. Take the ring and slide it down a tapered candle and mark the candle by spinning the ring. The jeweler can match this easily, and you don’t have to have the ring with you so your secret is safe.
Bless his heart.
Yooo that sales person did not give a fuuuuck! 😂😂😂
My ex husband was similar. He took one of my rings, but it was a ring I wore on my thumb. Fortunately my ring was able to be sized down to my correct ring finger size of 6.
Omg the same thing happened to my sister last week. She’s a size 6 and he got her a 10.5
I’m a little surprised that you would say “positive comments only”. This is ridiculousness and you want us to say it’s sweet that he seems to have no reasoning skills. I’m so sorry. I can’t do that, but I’m glad he was able to return it.
I’d call off the wedding
I don’t think this is funny or cute at all, it screams weaponized incompetence to me. Like, he couldn’t pick up a random ring that you wear, and borrow it for the afternoon to take to the jewelers for sizing? Or better yet, communicate to his future wife that he wants to marry you and needs to know what your ring size is? Please be serious right now.
6-7 ???
Yikes
