I personally think it looks a lot better pointing up! Most pear shaped stones are worn that way. Ultimately it’s up to you, but I will say- I think most people will assume you’re wearing it incorrectly on accident if you wear it pointing down!

I would wear with the point up away from your body and once married put the wedding band below the engagement ring.
