I’m getting more into vintage and hope to add a ring soon… 👀
It’s beautiful.
Congratulations! The ring is absolutely stunning. the sapphire has such a rich tone*.* Did you have to do any restoration on it or is it all original? Pieces like this are such a rare find

My engagement ring is from an estate sale and we had it resized and authenticated. The wedding band is from etsy. No idea if its antique or vintage but it was a good find nonetheless! Pink sapphire with 2 small diamonds and 14k yellow gold. Ring cost me $400 and $100 to resize and the etsy band is 10k yellow gold and moissanite and cost like $250!
Fabulous!
It’s beautiful and I am sure he is too :0) x

Around 1928
Love theh ring, looks like princess Diana’s.
Love both that stunning antique ring and that you have a much younger fiancé! I hope they treat you well and provide you nothing but joy, happiness, and love! And I know this will most likely not be a popular thought but I think it’s so much more beautiful than Princess Diana’s ring (which your ring vaguely makes me think of — obviously yours is a complete original that dates much, much earlier than hers). 💕
Whoa that is noice
I don’t know how old it is, but I got it at an antique mall. Reminds me of a granny style ring.

1940’s engagement ring, was my great grandmothers 💜✨ I don’t wear thing ring often but I do wear the matching band everyday. 18k gold and no warping which is amazing considering it’s age.

This is my cherished beauty!! My husband bought this for me after our son was born–emerald is his birthstone. (He found it online through an antique dealer based in London.)
The ring on my top hand is my great-grandmother’s 1938 engagement ring by the brand Keepsake. It had been worn by my great-grandmother in 1938, grandmother in 1959, and mother in 1986. My great grandmother and my grandmother are both gone now.
It was extremely worn down, both engagement ring and band were like razorblade thin on the palm side. With my blessing, my husband took the set to a local jeweler and they used the band to reinforce the engagement ring. He proposed with it and I wore it for most of our engagement. He always intended to give me a ring of his choosing but he knew wearing my family ring was important to me.
The ring on my bottom (left) hand is the ring he bought for me and that I wear with my wedding band. I do wear the heirloom sometimes, but since I don’t wear much yellow gold, I keep it in the ring box most of the time. I wore both rings on our wedding day.
