This is beautiful! I would ask if you can possible customize some sort of diamond to go on top of this. The band can keep the shape, while having a diamond on it
WOW that’s an incredible ring, never seen anything like that!! Amazing gift from your grandmother. Just a few days ago I saw a post in the related engagement ring designs subreddit from someone asking about a sort of similar wavy band ([that post is here](https://www.reddit.com/r/EngagementRingDesigns/comments/1oxeacp/please_help_me_find_my_dream_ring/)) and someone in the comments recommended Crevette designs studio? I have never heard them before, but the organic waves could be something that keeps with the theme of grandma’s ring. either way good luck, I’m truly stunned by the ring you have!!

Here is mine.
I don’t have my set yet but I have some inspo pics! Haha. I getting a custom wedding set made for our anniversary. It’s a teal sapphire E-ring and ombré sapphire wedding band. I’ve used ChatGPT to help mock up a design

Mine’s not wavy, but a custom made gold and white gold TWIST with natural diamond. It’s 25+ years old and still looks good. Yours is v different!

If it doesn’t stack well, keep your grandma’s ring special and go for a bold wavy ring that fits your style.
That is a gorgeous ring.

Idk if mine counts but it is wavy! It reminds me of a circus 🎪
Your grandmother’s ring is stunning. If you decide to use it as your engagement ring, IMO, it would be better to stand on its own. It’s so strikingly beautiful that I wouldn’t want anything to distract from it. Don’t have a ring that fits your description, but couldn’t pass this by without saying how lovely your ring is!
Such a cute, funky piece. If looks like it has its own little personality

No photos yet, but I’m expecting this custom ering within the next month. I’m so excited for the chunky babe to be on my finger!! It’s a 2 ct OEC in the center and a split shank based off of an antique ring.
Edited to add: I don’t know if I will get a wedding band or not yet, but if I do, I want to find a way to do a simple gold band that sits snugly along this ring. I don’t know yet if jewelers are able to somehow easily replicate the shape or not.

My finance just proposed last weekend! Definitely chunky, it’s a half eternity band. 5 stones each around one carat and surprisingly very comfortable. I love it
