Thoughts on This Ring? Let’s Discuss!
Hey everyone!
I’m thrilled to share my engagement ring with you all! 💍✨ As I gazed at this beauty, I couldn’t help but think about how rings are so much more than just a piece of jewelry—they represent love, commitment, and shared dreams.
My Ring Details:
- Gemstone: [e.g., Round Brilliant Diamond]
- Carat Weight: [e.g., 1.5 Carats]
- Metal: [e.g., Platinum]
- Setting: [e.g., Solitaire with a hidden halo]
Why I Chose This Ring:
I’ve always been fascinated by gemstones and their meanings. I fell in love with the sparkle and clarity of this diamond, but it was the elegant setting that truly captured my heart. I wanted something classic but with a modern twist.
Let’s Spark a Conversation:
-
What do you think about the cut? I went for a round brilliant. Do you prefer a different style, like an emerald or oval cut?
-
How does the setting make you feel? I adore the solitaire look, but some of you might prefer intricate vintage styles or halo settings.
-
Share your stories! Whether you’ve already committed or are still on the hunt, I want to hear your thoughts on engagement rings. What influenced your choice? Did you go for a family heirloom, or did you want something entirely new?
-
Gems and Meaning: Are there specific stones that hold more significance for you? Perhaps you chose a unique gem like a sapphire or an emerald for its historical meanings or personal connection?
-
Future Purchases: For those planning on buying a ring soon, what features are important to you? Size, cut, color, ethical sourcing?

I think it’s beautiful but the side stones are too large and it takes away the beauty of the center stone
I love this so much, the proportions make the ring really unique, with smaller side stones it would look like a generic mall ring, this one looks like a very expensive heirloom.
Edit: I really love that the stones flow together, it creates such an interesting shape and makes you do kind of a double take on whether it’s one large almost eye shaped stone.
I think it’s beautiful. I didn’t think the side stones looked too big. Looks like a great fitting puzzle piece
I like it but what are the carat sizes for all three stones?
It’s terrible – just give it to me and I’ll take it off your hands. 😜
I love it. It’s so classy.
I love it, because I’m biased and it’s a 3 stone ring like mine, but since I am not a fan of diamonds/lookalikes, I went with green sapphires
That said….I really like this ring, explicitly because of the dark bow tie. That’s normally perceived as a flaw but I think it looks banging next to the other stones, and not so boring
It’s beautiful
I’m obsessed. If I didn’t have my round solitaire, I would want this. Big centre, chunky sides. Love it. Like someone else said, it’s giving heirloom.
I love it! This was my original design for a wedding ring, but I ended up going in a completely different direction for budget purposes. I still love this look though. Maybe someday.
It’s quite pretty
The ring is amazing! The side stones look proportional and fit a flowing look this is designed for! In fact, I had to look for your caption to see what you could be asking about!
Gorgeous
Can we see it on your finger? Better to critique there than in the box.
It’s stunning but it sort of looks like one stone. I think the smaller stones would highlight the center stone and elevate it. Who would think i would say smaller is better
It’s so pretty! She’s gonna love it!
If you have the side stones reset smaller they are going to have to redo the prongs and make the setting smaller to hold the smaller stones, won’t that cause a longer wait to be able to give it to her? I would give it to her and see what she thinks, she may like the larger stones. I would. I think it is a gorgeous ring the way it is!
I LOVE the larger side stones. Its stunning.
I do love a three stone and that is beautiful. I do agree with you that the side stones are a little larger than I would’ve chosen. I feel the oval gets a bit lost. As is, you see is a wide breadth of sparkle. With smaller trillants, you’d emphasize the center stone, and side stones would function as accents. There’s no wrong or right, it’s what appeals to your aesthetic, or what you were envisioning.
Leave that gorgeous ring alone! You don’t want it to look like airplane wings! It’s in proportion with the center stone and it is set so well that it appears seamless between the stones.
I saw that ring at Cartier in Chicago in 1997. In mined diamonds, it was $100,000-some odd.
I wear a similar ring today. I sometimes notice the points on the sides. It looks fab.
It’s beautiful!!!
That’s a RING! Truly stunning — no notes. I see you’re considering swapping the sides for smaller stones — I wouldn’t. Like someone else commented, that will make it look more like a generic ring. As it stands now is unique and the sparkle is divine. However, if you think your partner will want something more subdued, do what’s best for you! That center stone is incredible either way.
I think I’m in love.
I think it looks lovely!
This is beautiful!
Literally my dream ring!
I’m more concerned about the very defined bowtie on this ring but I adore the proportion and shape of the side stones.
my thoughts are: YES! YES! A thousand times, yes!
I think it unique…which makes it quite stunning!
love the warmth and depth, hate the bow tie
I love it!!
I think it’s absolutely fabulous! 🤤😍
That is going to look incredible on the hand.
stunning
