Which Would You Choose: A Deep Dive into Antique Engagement Rings?
Hello, lovely community!
I’m thrilled to share a bit of my engagement ring journey with all of you. As a passionate lover of antique jewelry, I’ve come across two stunning antique rings that have caught my attention, and I need your expertise in deciding which one to choose!
The Rings:
1. The Victorian Beauty:
This ring dates back to the late 1800s and features an intricate filigree setting with a cushion-cut diamond at its center. The diamond is approximately 1.5 carats and boasts a lovely light yellow hue, surrounded by delicate floral motifs and small, sparkling accent diamonds. This ring is a true representation of the romantic nature of the Victorian era.
2. The Art Deco Gem:
On the other hand, we have a breathtaking Art Deco ring from the 1920s that showcases a stunning asscher-cut diamond, also around 1.5 carats, with a striking geometric design. This ring is set in platinum and features a channel of smaller diamonds on either side, giving it a modern yet timeless vibe. The craftsmanship is impeccable, making it a showstopper in any light.

If I had to pick, 1; but they’re both winners.

1!
I like 2
2 is much more unique!

Both are beautiful, but I’d lean toward the marquise. The elongated shape is flattering on the hand and gives a real 1920s vibe that’s hard to find now.

Marquise! I just prefer elongated cuts

Actually depends on your finger shape. If it’s shorter I’d go with number 1 and longer number 2 . Both are gorgeous though and you win either way 🥰

Both are stunning, but the marquise design has such timeless elegance.
Definitely number 2! Marquise cuts have my heart and the filigree details make it look so much more timeless and elegant!
